ROCHESTER, NY - The Nazareth men's cross country team had five of the top 10 finishers at the 2021 Empire 8 Championships to claim the first-ever program title in Houghton, NY.
Nazareth had 28 points as a team followed by second place St. John Fisher with 43 points.
Nathan Bowers placed second in a time of 19:10.8 over the 6k course.
Matt Reimann placed fourth (19:28.2) and was joined in the top 10 by sophomore Nathan McNally (5th place, 19:33.6), senior Michael Brown (7th place, 19:41.0) and junior Joshua Tomaka (10th place, 1948.6).
