Environmental Science major... son of Sean and Rebecca Bowers, Endicott, N.Y... returning for his fourth cross country season, Bowers served as the Golden Flyers' top runner in the fall of 2021 as he finished second at the Empire 8 Conference meet with a time of 25:43.2 for 8 kilometers to earn first-team all-conference honors and to help Nazareth win its second straight E8 title... also finished 18th (25:55.0) at the NCAA Niagara Regional race at Geneseo to earn all-region honors... had a career-best 8k time of 25:39.6 to finish 43rd at the Paul Short Run at Lehigh on 10/1/21... named E8 Runner of the Week for 10/4/21... enjoyed an outstanding track and field season both indoors and outdoors in 2022... named E8 Track Athlete of the Year for the outdoor season after winning both the 5,000- and 10,000-meter runs at the Conference Championship meet at Nazareth... broke a 15-year-old school record with a time of 15:08.37 in the 5,000-meter run at Bucknell on 4/15/22... also had personal-best times in the 1,500-meter run (4:02.28) and the 10,000-meter run (32:19.70)... finished ninth in the 5,000 (15:15.68) at the All-Atlantic Regional meet... indoor season included second-place finishes in the mile, 3,000- and 5,000-meter runs at the E8 Indoor meet at Utica... narrowly missed a school indoor record in the 3,000-meter run (8:41.99), but had a personal-best time to finish 14th at the All-Atlantic Regional meet at Nazareth on 3/4/22... represented the Golden Flyers on the E8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 or better.

2020-21: Bowers competed in both cross country races for the Golden Flyers during their makeshift 2021 spring season... finished second at the Empire 8 Conference meet in 19:10.8 for 6 kilometers to gain first-team all-conference honors... also finished first at St. John Fisher's Rodenbeck Invitational (19:47.4) on 3/26/21... named E8 Runner of the Week for 3/30/21... enjoyed a successful track and field season both indoors and outdoors... won E8 outdoor titles in both the 5,000- and 10,000-meter runs with times of 15:59.38 and 32:53.89 respectively... also captured the E8 indoor title in the 5,000 with a time of 15:37.47 and was third in the 3,000-meter run (9:08.58)... finished ninth in the 10,000-meter run at the outdoor All-Atlantic Regional meet at St. John Fisher on 5/20/21.

2019-20: Bowers competed regularly in 2019 and finished 13th at the Empire 8 Conference meet for cross country on 11/2/19 at St. John Fisher (27:41.4 for 8 kilometers) to earn second-team all-conference honors... also represented the Golden Flyers as E8 Sportsman of the Year... finished 86th at the NCAA Atlantic Regional meet on 11/16/19 at St. Lawrence (26:52.8)... top 8k time of 26:37.7 was good for 17th place at Houghton's Highlander Invitational on 10/5/19... competed for the Golden Flyers' indoor track team and finished second in the 3,000-meter run (8:59.36) at the E8 Conference meet to gain second-team all-conference honors... other top times included 4:29.51 in the mile and 2:10.65 in the 800-meter run.

Scholastic: a graduate of Owego Free Academy, Bowers competed in cross country and track and field there... helped cross country team to Section Four Class B titles in 2017 and 2018 with second-place individual finishes each season... also finished 31st at state meet in 2018 and fourth at Northeast & New York Regional meet... a three-time all-star in the Southern Tier Athletic Conference... won Section Four indoor championship in the 3,200-meter run and finished third at state meet... holds school record for 3,200-meter run (9:23.2) and two other relays... recipient of Weiss Stem Scholarship and Noah Farley Memorial Scholarship.
