Box Score BUFFALO, NY –
Leah Fusilli took charge on both the offensive and defensive ends for Nazareth, putting up eight kills and 12 digs in a match against Buffalo State. Despite her efforts, the Golden Flyers suffered another tough 3-0 loss.

The first set was very back and forth with scoring. Each team went on multiple three- or four-point runs. In the end, however, Buffalo State's runs were more sustainable, and they took the set at a score of 25-21.

The second set was similar, in fact there were nine lead changes throughout the set that made it anyone's game. The ninth lead change was in favor of Buffalo State with a score of 23-22 in the middle of a four-point run for the Bengals that helped them to pull out a 25-22 win.

The third set was only slightly less exciting with a few lead changes and multiple runs from both teams. Buffalo State held the lead from the 17
th point on, taking the set at a score of 25-18 to win the match.

Fusilli led the way for both defense and scoring, while teammate
Ella Kules posted 16 assists and eight digs for the match. Senior
Ruth Jackson added four kills and one dig to the efforts, while
Zipporah Sparkman and
Alana Lucey each tallied three kills.
Rylie Loomis and
Jenna Mattison contributed on the defensive end with eight and six digs respectfully.

The Golden Flyers will travel to Washington, DC for their next two matches on September 14
th for a Tri-Match with Catholic University and Ramapo College.
