Madison Chodkowski had a hat trick in the Golden Flyers home opener.
Oberlin scored first towards the end of the first quarter after eight and a half minutes of silence from both teams.
Nazareth blew open the score in the second quarter with five goals.
Hannah Janes opened Nazareth's scoring on an assist from
Michaela Cushman.
Madison Chodkowski scored next, assisted by
Hannah Janes. Next was
Cadence Harvard assisted by
Michaela Cushman and
Audra Mieczkowski. Nazareth's fourth goal was scored by
Madison Chodkowski and assisted by
Audra Mieczkowski. The last goal of the quarter was
Audra Mieczkowski from
Michaela Cushman.
At the half, Nazareth led 5-1.
The third quarter was uneventful on the scoreboard, neither team putting up points.
Chodkowski earned her hat trick early in the fourth quarter off of an assist from
Lydia Coombs.
Nazareth had 13 shots on goal to Oberlin's 1. The Golden Flyers also recorded 13 corner kicks to Oberlin's 1.

th at 7 p.m.
