Mackenzie Halliday recorded 11 saves against William Smith College in Nazareth's first road game of the season. Despite her defensive efforts, the Golden Flyers fell to the Herons with a score of 6-1.
The Golden Flyers allowed William Smith College to get out to an early start, as the Herons scored three goals in the first quarter. The score remained 3-0 in favor of William Smith at the halftime buzzer.
After a silent second quarter, William Smith scored another goal in the third to give the Herons a convincing 4-0 lead going into the final quarter.

Michaela Cushman, the Golden Flyers were not able to turn it around in the fourth quarter, and the game concluded with a score of 6-1.
The Golden Flyers will travel to Morrisville on September 13 for a 4 p.m. competition.
