Box Score GENEVA, NY – Junior goalie Mackenzie Halliday recorded 11 saves against William Smith College in Nazareth's first road game of the season. Despite her defensive efforts, the Golden Flyers fell to the Herons with a score of 6-1.

The Golden Flyers allowed William Smith College to get out to an early start, as the Herons scored three goals in the first quarter. The score remained 3-0 in favor of William Smith at the halftime buzzer.

After a silent second quarter, William Smith scored another goal in the third to give the Herons a convincing 4-0 lead going into the final quarter.

Despite an unassisted goal from freshman forward Michaela Cushman, the Golden Flyers were not able to turn it around in the fourth quarter, and the game concluded with a score of 6-1.

The Golden Flyers will travel to Morrisville on September 13 for a 4 p.m. competition.
