ROCHESTER, NY - The Nazareth women's basketball team won its first-ever JPMorgan Chase Tournament in 2001, defeating St. John Fisher in the championship game, 85-65.

The Golden Flyers had four players in double figures, led by Terri Nagle's 20 points, five assists, and three steals. Sarah Curley poured in 18 points, three assists and three steals, while Laura Wheeler was 8-for-12 for 17 points and 12 rebounds.  Erin Michaels was also in double figures with 14 points.

Nazareth finished the game shooting 55.4 percent from the field (31-for-56).
