ROCHESTER, NY – The Nazareth women's volleyball team enjoyed great success in the mid-1980s, making consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances in 1984 and 1985. In the 1985 season, the Golden Flyers won a program record 43 games (43-14).

In 1984, Nazareth went 30-13, falling to Albany 3-1 in the NCAA Tournament.

The following season in 1985, Nazareth went 43-14, falling to Cortland 3-0 in the NCAA Tournament. Nazareth finished the year ranked 10th in the country.
