ROCHESTER, NY - In 2002, the Nazareth women's volleyball team advanced to the NCAA Division III Quarterfinals for the second consecutive year after defeating NYU in the NCAA New York Regional, 30-16, 30-23, 30-27.

Nazareth hosted Trinity (TX) in the NCAA quarterfinals, falling 26-30, 30-23, 30-27, 30-28. Christa Downey had 35 kills in the match on a .361 attack percentage to go along with 26 digs. Tricia Jones had 23 kills on a .439 attack percentage.
