GREENSBORO, NC – On the final day of competition at the 2024 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships, senior Alexa Rizzo took 21st place in the 3-meter diving competition to close out her appearance at the championships.

Rizzo placed third in the 1-meter diving competition to earn First Team All-America honors but was 18 points shy of a top-16 position that would have given her a second All-America award.

She finished with a score of 382.15 in the 11-dive preliminary event. Her top scoring dive was her sixth with a forward 2 ½ somersault in the pike position that scored 45.60 with 6.0 and 6.5 scores from all seven judges.

Her 10th dive was had a score over 40 with a forward 1 ½ somersault with a full twist in the free position that scored a 6.0, four 6.5 score and a pair of 7.0 from the judges for a 40.95. That score moved her up two spots on the overall leaderboard.
