Top 100 Moment: April 10, 2004 - Golden Flyer Stadium Opens As Men's and Women's Lacrosse Teams Earn Victories

ROCHESTER, NY - The grand opening for Golden Flyer Stadium on April 10, 2004 featured a doubleheader of lacrosse games. The #6-ranked Nazareth men's team played at noon against Hartwick, defeating the Hawks 26-12, followed by the #20-ranked women's squad downing St. Lawrence 8-5.

On the men's side, Bryan Adams scored the first-ever goal at Golden Flyer Stadium just :25 seconds into the game off an assist from Brian Navarra. Justin Wahl, Bryan Coon, Brandon Brown, and Greg Kanellis each finished the game with four points.

The women's squad had Kim Kreskow score the opening goal in the stadium off an assist from Shawna Kabot. Kabot finished the game with two goals and one assist. Beth Quartier had two goals in the game and Stephanie Smolos added two assists. In goal, Lindsey Burgess made 11 saves on 19 shots.
