ROCHESTER, NY - The Nazareth women's volleyball team has delivered eight Empire 8 titles during its existence, including three-straight from 2001-2003 and from 2011-2013. In addition, Nazareth won titles in 2006 and 2018.

The first two titles in 2001 and 2002 came under head coach Linda Downey. Nazareth defeated Alfred in straight sets to win the 2001 title and then downed Ithaca in three sets in 2002 to hoist the trophy. In 2003, the first for head coach Cal Wickens, Nazareth defeated RIT 3-1 in the final. 

The 2006 title featured the Golden Flyers downing Ithaca in a five-set thriller.

Nazareth defeated Stevens in three consecutive years in the title game from 2011-2013. The Golden Flyers won in three sets in 2011, five sets in 2012, and four sets in 2013.

The last title for the Golden Flyers came in 2018, when the Golden Flyers beat Stevens in five sets.
