ROCHESTER, NY - Senior Allison Roberts scored 3:39 into the second overtime lift Nazareth to a 14-13 victory over Ithaca to win the Empire 8 Conference Championship in 2002 and earn an automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Tournament.

Nazareth went on to fall 14-9 to Union in the NCAA Tournament. Robert's was later named an All-American after scoring with 65 points on 29 goals and 36 assists.

Nazareth finished the year 11-5.
