ROCHESTER, NY - The Nazareth men's soccer team downed Alfred 1-0 on November 9, 2019 to win the Empire 8 Championship. It was the Golden Flyers first Empire 8 title since 2006.

Dereck France picked an opportune time to score his first-career goal in the 59th minute, ripping a half volley from 30-yards out off a pass from Adrian Padilla.

Goalkeeper Brian Wilkin made two saves in the win for his seventh shutout of the season and 23rd of his career.
