GENESEO, N.Y.- The Golden Flyers fell 2-0 to the Geneseo Knights in an Empire 8 Conference matchup on Wednesday evening.
 
Nazareth is now 6-5-2 and Geneseo is 8-3-2. 
 
The Golden Flyers and the Knights had a 50/50 possession game. 
 
In the 31st minute Tatum Overton created a shot that just went over the net. Within the first half, Overton had half the shots on net. 
 
The Golden Flyers out-shot the Knights 6-5 in the first half. 
 
The game remained scoreless at half. 
 
In the 58th minute of the game the Knights had a breakthrough creating an opportunity and put the ball in the back of the net, taking the lead, 1-0.
 
In the 70th minute the Knights created and scored off another opportunity and the game closed at a score of 2-0. 
 
The Knights outshot the Golden Flyers 13-10.  
 
Goalie Annika Monfort had a total of 7 saves. 
 
The Golden Flyers return to action traveling to Utica on Saturday at 5 p.m.
