SELINSGROVE, PA – Sophomore Jenna Mattison recorded a team-leading eight digs for the Nazareth University Women's Volleyball team but the Golden Flyers fell in three sets to Messiah in the first match of the season at the Susquehanna University Invitational.

Nazareth (0-1) fell by scores of 25-18, 25-19 and 25-12 and will face host Susquehanna and SUNY Oneonta Saturday at Susquehanna.

Junior Tessa Grover had five kills, five digs, six assists and four blocks while junior Ruth Jackson finished with three kills, four blocks and three digs. Sophomore Leah Fusilli had four kills, two aces and three digs while junior Ella Kules finished with six assists and three digs.
