Cade Eells and Isabel Morse Named Athlete of the Week

ROCHESTER, NY – Sophomore Cade Eells and freshman Isabel Morse each set school records over the weekend at the All-Atlantic Regional Championships and have been recognized by the Empire 8 Conference with Athlete of the Week honors.
Eells broke the school record by more than 12 seconds in the 3K steeplechase with a time of 9:15.23. The previous record was 9:27.67 set in 2007 by Aaron Sirtoli and was named the Empire 8 Track Athlete of the Week. Morse joined her twin sister with a school record as the freshman cleared 3.70 meters (12' 1 ½") in the pole vault to set the outdoor record. Her sister, Rosie Morse, owns the indoor pole vault record and was named the Empire 8 Field co-Athlete of the Week.
The Nazareth women placed 10th as a team in the regional championship meet while the men took 20th place.
