GENEVA, NY – The offense for the Nazareth Women's Volleyball team struggled to gather momentum in a tough non-conference loss at William Smith Wednesday night as the Golden Flyers dropped a 3-0 decision.
The Herons (7-3) won by set scores of 25-22, 25-18 and 25-16.
Nazareth (3-8) was led by sophomore Tessa Grover who connected on seven kills and added 14 assists and seven digs. Fellow sophomore Ella Kules chipped in eight assists and a team-leading 12 digs while senior Kaylee Kelly added three kills, six digs and a pair of blocks.
Nazareth will start Empire 8 conference play Friday with a 6 p.m. match against Keuka in Kidera Gymnasium.
