CLINTON, N.Y. – Four of Nazareth's top five runners set personal bests for the 4-kilometer Hamilton Short Course on Saturday, with
Emily Weaver leading the way in fourth place at 15:19.7. The Golden Flyers placed fourth out of seven teams with 110 points. St. Lawrence finished in first with 22 points.
Weaver bested her 2021 time at the Hamilton Short Course by nearly 10 seconds (15:29.8). Allison Sibold of St. Lawrence took first in a time of 14:32.1.
Next to cross the finish line for Nazareth was junior
Lilianna Hanning in 12th place at 15.38.9, beating her personal best of 15:56.
Freshman
Ella Impaglia had a strong performance in her first short race, placing 30
th in 16:17.1.
Nazareth's final two scorers were
Peyton Tripp (16:23.2) who was 35
th and
Alexis Anagnostopulos (16:38.8) who was 41
st. Tripp's previous personal best was 16:23.4 and Anagnostopulos was 16:55.3.
Other finishes for Nazareth included
