ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Three players on Nazareth's women's lacrosse team were named to the Empire 8 Conference's all-tournament team.
Seniors
Lauren Caldwell and
Emma Parry as well as junior
Emma States represented the Golden Flyers, who finished the 2022 season with a record of 8-10 (5-1 in conference play) and reached the conference championship game.
All three players were Empire 8 Conference all-stars. Caldwell, a defender from Liverpool, N.Y., started all 18 games for the Golden Flyers, including both E8 Tournament games. She had two ground balls and four caused turnovers in weekend games against Utica and St. John Fisher.
Parry, a defender from Camillus, N.Y., was named E8 Defensive Player of the Year last week. In the two E8 Tournament games, she totaled seven ground balls, 10 draw controls and six caused turnovers.
States, an attacker from Phoenix, N.Y., totaled seven points on four goals and three assists against Utica and Fisher.
