ROCHESTER, NY – A lone goal in the third quarter Saturday afternoon downed the Nazareth Field Hockey team as the Golden Flyers dropped the 1-0 decision to Utica University in an Empire 8 game on the Turf Field.

Freshman goalie Madilyn Satter made 10 saves for Nazareth (2-13 overall, 2-4 Empire 8) but a shot off a penalty corner for the Pioneers (5-7, 4-2 Empire 8) was redirected into the back of the goal for the only score of the game.
