DUNKIRK, NY – Freshman Logan Menna made three saves to record the fourth consecutive shutout victory for the Nazareth College Men's Soccer team in a 2-0 win over SUNY Fredonia Tuesday night.
The win for Nazareth (7-1-1 overall) was the sixth in a row for the Golden Flyers.
Menna improved his personal scoreless streak to over 400 minutes as he has not allowed a goal since September 5 against RIT in the third game of the season.
Nazareth scored once in each half as freshman Ryan Fitzgerald scored late in the first half and fellow freshman Jake Pawlika scored his eighth goal of the year with less than 15 minutes to play in the game.
The Golden Flyers held a 10-3 edge in shots including a dominating 6-0 advantage in the first half.
Nazareth will take on Russell Sage at 2 p.m. Saturday in an Empire 8 game at Golden Flyer Stadium.
