HOUGHTON, NY – The Houghton College Men's Soccer team scored twice in the first 15 minutes and then added a third goal with 10 minutes remaining in the first half to record a 3-0 victory over Nazareth College Thursday night on Burke Field in Houghton.

The Highlanders (4-1 overall, 3-1 Empire 8) had a decisive 8-4 shots advantage in the first 45 minutes and then held a slim 6-5 edge in the second half.

Freshman goalie Trevor Clark was credited with five saves including four in the first half for Nazareth (2-2, 2-2 E8).

The Golden Flyers return to action Sunday at home against Utica College to close out the regular season.
