ROCHESTER N.Y. – Nazareth's women's hockey dominance continued Thursday at the Bill Gray's Iceplex as the Golden Flyers remained unbeaten with an 11-0 victory over Neumann in a United Collegiate Hockey Conference game.

Nazareth was in control from start to finish in winning for the ninth straight time without a loss. The Golden Flyers have outscored the opposition by a 63-2 margin with seven shutouts. The Golden Flyers are 7-0 in conference games. Neumann dropped to 1-9-1 overall and 1-5-1 in the UCHC. The two teams play again Friday at the Rochester Ice Center in Perinton. First face-off is 6:45 p.m.

The Golden Flyers scored four times in the first period and five more times in the second. Madison Nichols finished the game with two goals and three assists and brings a team-best 14 assists into Friday's game. Elie Fallieras added a pair of goals and Cristina Darby had a goal and two assists.  Maria Di Cresce and Stephanie Kubis each had one goal and one assist.

Nazareth wasted little time establishing momentum as Darby scored less than three minutes into the opening period after Di Cresce stole the puck and created an opportunity that Darby finished. Four minutes later Fallieras scored her first goal of the game with assists from Hailey Redders and Nichols. Just 33 seconds later, Stephanie Kubis scored on a shot from the blue line with Nichols assisting.

Nichols finished off the first-period scoring at 13:32 with assists from Fallieras and Julia Holmes.

The Golden Flyers padded their lead in the second period with goals from Abbey Luth (on the power play), Keeley Rose, Fallieras, Ally Watrous and Di Cresce.

The third period featured goals by Nichols and Gabriella DeMeo.

Nazareth had a whopping 67-8 edge in shots and sophomore goaltender McKinley Hoff was never seriously tested as she was called upon to make eight saves for the shutout. She has yet to allow a goal in four career starts, including three games this season.
