ROCHESTER, N.Y.-- Freshman Makenna Wiljanen scored a pair of goals and sophomore Abbey Luth added a goal and two assists Saturday as host Nazareth dominated King's in women's hockey action, winning 6-0 at the Bill Gray's Regional Iceplex.

The United Collegiate Hockey Conference victory boosted Nazareth's overall record to 16-3-3 and its conference mark to 11-1-2. Kings dropped to 2-20-1 overall and 1-14-0 in the UCHC. The Golden Flyers also defeated Wilkes on Friday, 4-1.

Nazareth unleashed a 58-shot barrage on the Monarchs overall and scored three times in the first period to take control early. Wiljanen's first goal, at 18:41 of the first period, came on the power play and was assisted by Luth and Keeley Rose. Less than a minute later, Luth scored her 14th goal of the season with an assist from Madison Nichols as Nazareth opened the 3-0 lead. Hailey Redders opened the scoring with her team-leading 15th goal at 7:55 of the first period with Luth and Gabriella DeMeo assisting.

The Golden Flyers added one more goal in the second period and two more in the third. Nichols scored her 12th goal of the season at 6:18 of the second period with assists from Luth and Redders.

In the third period, Wiljanen added her second goal of the game and 12th of the season unassisted at 5:16. Kyla Thompson followed with a power play goal at 15:00 to close out the scoring. Celena Rea and Stephanie Kubis assisted. Thompson also scored twice in Friday's 4-1 win over Wilkes.

Sophomore Adrianna Brehm was in goal for Nazareth and made six routine saves for her 11th win and third shutout. It was her 10th career shutout.

Nazareth closes its regular-season schedule with road games at Elmira Saturday at 3 p.m. and William Smith Sunday at 4.
