WATERBURY, Conn. -- Hanna Berry scored a pair of goals and assisted on another Friday as visiting Nazareth had little difficulty winning for the fifth straight time in women's hockey as the Golden Flyers defeated Post in a non-league contest, 7-0.

Taking a break from United Collegiate Hockey Conference play this weekend, the Golden Flyers extended their overall record to 16-3-1 in their inaugural season. Post is 6-20 overall. The teams play again Saturday at 4 p.m.

With the three points, Barry doubled her points total for the season for the Golden Flyers. She scored the lone goal of the opening period off an assist from Cristina Darby as Nazareth gained a 1-0 advantage after one period.

The Golden Flyers tacked on three goals each in the second and third periods to take control. Hailey Redders delivered her team-leading 12th goal early in the second period with an assist from Emily Kromer. Then Barry scored again with help from Shanley Austin, who gained her first career point, at 17:59.

Before the period ended, Nazareth scored again as Madison Nichols converted off the second assist from Kromer.

In the third period, Barry gained an assist on a goal by Darby at 1:36. Nikolle Van Stralen and Taylor Hudon also tallied for the Golden Flyers, who enjoyed a 69-17 advantage in shots.

Adrianna Brehm played all 60 minutes in goal for the Golden Flyers and made 17 saves to record her seventh shutout.
