Psychology major with Early Childhood Education concentration... daughter of Bill and Dawn Nichols, Trinity, Fla... returning for her fourth season, Nichols played in all 10 games for the Golden Flyers during the pandemic-shortened 2021 season and finished tied for the team lead in scoring with 12 points on five goals and seven assists... had three points (1g, 2a) in a 5-0 win over Stevenson on 3/12/21... twice tallied one goal and one assist in wins at Utica on 2/27/21 and 4/1/21... also scored in wins over Chatham on 3/6/21 and 4/3/21... named as a second-team United Collegiate Hockey Conference all-star.
2019-20: Nichols enjoyed a strong season in 2019-20 as she appeared in all 26 games and finished third on the team in scoring with 29 points on 13 goals and 16 assists... became the first Nazareth player to score four goals in a game and equaled a school record with six points (4g, 2a) in a 6-2 win over Neumann on 1/25/20... had three three-point games -- at Anna Maria (2g, 1a) on 11/9/19, at Chatham (0g, 3a) on 1/18/20 and at William Smith (1g, 2a) on 2/23/20... had two goals in a 10-0 win at King's on 11/16/19... named UCHC North Division Player of the Week for 1/26/20.
2018-19: Nichols appeared in 20 games for the Golden Flyers in 2018-19 and contributed nine points on one goal and eight assists... scored first career goal in 7-0 win at Post on 2/1/19... had two assists in a 7-3 win at Stevenson on 11/17/18 and against Neumann on 1/11/19 and at Post on 2/2/19.
Scholastic: a 2018 graduate of J.W. Mitchell High School in Florida, Nichols helped hockey team to three state titles... played for the Boston Shamrocks of the Junior Women's Hockey League in 2017-18 and had 21 points on nine goals, 12 assists in 25 games.
