GLASSBORO, N.J. -- Freshman Hayley Cronin ran the top time for the Nazareth College women's cross country team Saturday afternoon as she placed 107th overall leading the Golden Flyers to a 29th place team finish at the Inter-Regional Border Battle event hosted by Rowan University.

Cronin completed the 6K course with a time of 23:37.3 as the top finisher for the Golden Flyers. There were 348 finishers and 39 teams in the multi-regional competition.

Sophomore Dierdra Brett was the second finisher for Nazareth with a time of 24:12.3 in 150th position while freshman Claire Bargabos took 201st with a time of 25:00.8. The rest of the Nazareth finishers were sophomore Lauren Guilfoil (25:01.9), junior Maria Staehr (25:35.6), sophomore Kaitlyn Dobbertin (26:00.9) and freshman Claire Kubinski (28:16.0).

The Golden Flyers will run next in two weeks at the Empire 8 Championships in Alfred.
