ELMIRA, NY – Visiting Nazareth erupted for four second half goals to down Elmira 4-0 on Saturday afternoon, extending its win streak to four games.
Nazareth improves to 8-2-2 overall and 3-1 in conference play, while Elmira drops to 1-9-1 and 0-4, respectively.
Michaela Soules had a strong individual effort to put the Golden Flyers up 1-0. The senior stole the ball from a defender and quickly fired a shot past the goalkeeper for the tally.
Soules was on the other end of a goal 17 minutes later. Following a turnover at midfield, Soules played a through ball in behind the defense for
Julia Delgatti to slide past the goalie.
The Golden Flyers were at it again in the 81st minute.

Jessica Barden up the right side, taking a few dribbles and passing it into the net for a 3-0 lead. It was Barden's first goal of the season.
The final goal of the contest came with just over two minutes remaining.
Jordyn Ruston collected her own rebound and made good on the second opportunity.
Allison Dobles three saves in net for her sixth shutout of the season.
Nazareth nearly got on the scoreboard in the 35
th minute on a free kick just outside the box.
Mary LoCicero ripped a shot outside of the wall that the Elmira goalkeeper had to push aside.
Nazareth returns to action on Satruday when it travels to Ithaca for a 12 p.m. contest.
