Cumulative statsCORTLAND, N.Y. – Nazareth competed in a pair of contests Saturday, earning a split to close out the Red Dragon Classic, hosted by SUNY Cortland. The Golden Flyers fell in three sets (15-25, 23-25, 17-25) against Stockton, before roaring back to a (14-25, 12-25, 25-20, 25-23, 15-13) victory over St. Lawrence.

Jennifer Hicks continued her stellar weekend compiling a .630 hitting percentage for 12 kills.
Maureen Thayer dished out 32 assists for Nazareth, while
Olivia Krick finished with 10 digs. Freshman
Carmen Sapp ended with five kills.
In the second match of the day, the Golden Flyers started slowly, amassing just 26 total points in the first two sets. However the Golden Flyers rebounded with a 25-21 victory in the third set which helped spur the comeback.
Cady Messmer racked up 17 kills while
Kelsey Milligan managed 10 of her own. Hicks compiled eight kills while Thayer registered 42 assists.
Hicks earned All-Tournament recognition for Nazareth.
The Golden Flyers are back in action Saturday next Friday and Saturday when they will host the Golden Flyer Invitational.
