Updated statsBUFFALO, N.Y. -- Host Buffalo State dominated Nazareth Tuesday in a non-conference women's volleyball match as the Bengals avenged an earlier defeat with a three-set sweep over the Golden Flyers. Scores were 25-15, 25-21, 25-22.
Nazareth, which recorded a three-set sweep over the Bengals 11 days ago at RIT, dropped to 10-7 overall, while Buffalo State improved to 9-8.
Buffalo State outhit Nazareth throughout the match, recording 36 total kills for a .216 hitting percentage compared to Nazareth's 24 kills for a .052 hitting percentage.

Cady Messmer had a team-best nine kills and junior swetter
Maureen Thayer amassed 20 assists. Freshman libero
Olivia Krick had 12 digs with Messmer adding nine.
Buffalo State's Hannah Renaldo led all attackers with 14 kills on 45 swings for a .289 hitting percentage. Karla Pyc added nine kills and Jennifer Cecchettini had 30 assists.
Nazareth resumes its Empire 8 Conference schedule Wednesday with a home match against St. John Fisher at 7 p.m.
