Updated statsROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Visiting Stevens scored the game-winning goal with just one tick left in the first overtime period Sunday as the Ducks rallied to edge Nazareth, 3-2, in an Empire 8 Conference women's soccer match at Golden Flyer Stadium.
The victory was the fourth in a row for the Ducks, who improved their overall record to 9-2-1. Stevens is now in sole possession of first place in the Empire 8 Conference with a 4-0-1 mark. Ithaca is next at 3-0-1, followed by Nazareth at 3-1-1 in the Empire 8 and 9-2-2 overall. The Golden Flyers are off until Saturday when they visit Hartwick for a key conference match at 2:30 p.m. Nazareth then closes its regular-season schedule with three straight home games. Sunday's loss snapped a four-game winning streak for Nazareth and a six-game unbeaten streak (5-0-1).
Zisi Komar scored her second goal of the game and team-leading ninth of the season for Stevens just before time expired in the first overtime. Raba Nassif gained an assist after she hurried a corner kick into the box, where Komar converted the decisive goal. The Ducks had rallied from a 2-1 halftime deficit to force overtime as Kristin Goncalves scored in the 59th minute to square the match at 2-2.
Nazareth's two goals came less than four minutes apart late in the first half as the Golden Flyers overcame an early 1-0 disadvantage.

Katie Trainor was credited with her second career goal and first of the 2015 season in the 41st minute as she nudged a shot past Stevens keeper Lindsey Mahnken following a free kick by
Courtney Malia. Then, with just 55 seconds left in the half, Malia unleashed a corner kick that found the forehead of sophomore
Nicole Petocchi who converted for her third goal of the season and a 2-1 Nazareth lead.
Stevens had taken a 1-0 lead in the 20th minute. The Ducks were awarded a penalty kick following a foul in the box. Carly Bean's attempt caromed off the right goal post. The Ducks, however, kept the pressure on and Komar scored off a pass from Nassif.
Stevens had a 20-12 advantage in shots ad a 7-4 edge in corner kicks. Mahnken was credited with five saves, while junior
Allison Dobles had nine saves for the Golden Flyers.
