VICTOR, N.Y. -- A solid second-day effort enabled Nazareth's women's golf team to inch up to a tie for fourth place in the team standings Sunday as the Golden Flyers closed out their season at the Nazareth Spring Invitational at Ravenwood Golf Club.
Freshman
Jennifer Lachell recorded her second straight score of 92 for a two-round total of 184 to finish in 11th place individually. Ithaca won the team title with a two-day score of 686 after scores of 335 and 351. Saturday's first round was contested at Monroe Golf Club. Cortland finished second (350-351--701), followed by St. Lawrence (349-368--717), Nazareth (404-396--800) and LeMoyne (402-298--800) and William Smith (394-410--404).
Sophomore
Anne Czelusniak finished in a tie for 19th place for Nazareth with rounds of 98 and 99 for a 197 total. Sophomore
Jamie Schmidt (100-98--198), junior
Mindy Fowler (117-107--224) and sophomore
Alyssa Moffat (114-122--236) also competed.
Ithaca's Sharon Li won the individual title with scores of 79 and 80 for a 159 total.
