Education major. . . born 1/21/92... daughter of Dan and Karen Schmidt, Baldwinsville, N.Y... returning for her second season, Schmidt played in seven tournaments and posted an average score of 98.36 during her freshman year... finished eighth of 26 golfers at the William Smith Invitational, where she also had her season-best score of 87 in the second round... placed 17th at the Empire 8 Championships as she recorded a score of 105 in the first and second rounds...
Scholastic: a graduate of C.W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville, Schmidt played soccer and golf there... played six seasons of varsity golf and was a perennial Onondaga League all-star... served as team captain as a junior and senior and helped team to league title in 2010... earned second-team Onondaga League all-star honors in soccer in '09 and helped team to league and sectional titles in 2008.
