POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Nazareth's women's golf season continued over the weekend as the Golden Flyers competed in the Vassar Invitational at the par-70 Dutchess Golf and Country Club.
Sophomore
Anne Czelusniak was the Golden Flyers' top individual finisher as she finished with a two-day score of 200, including a 94 on Sunday, for a tie for 44th place. Freshman
Jennifer Lachell had Nazareth's best Sunday score with a 90 to finish at 206 and a tie for 51st place. Sophomore
Jamie Schmidt also was tied for 51st place after shooting 104 and 102 for a 206 total.
Alyssa Moffat, in 60th place, and
Mindy Fowler, in 62nd place, also competed for the Golden Flyers.
Nazareth placed 11th in the team standings with a team score of 856. Amherst won the team title with 663. Middlebury's Flora Weeks won the medalist honors with a two-day score of 159.
