HOBOKEN, N.J. -- Visiting Nazareth exploded for 55 second-half points Friday as the Golden Flyers rallied for an 87-72 men's basketball victory over Stevens Institute of Technology. Three Nazareth players finished with 20 points or more --

The victory, Nazareth's second of the season over the Ducks, boosted the Golden Flyers' record to 6-11 overall and 3-5 in the Empire 8. Stevens is 10-8 overall and 3-6 in the E8.
Trailing 35-32 at halftime, Nazareth made 20 of 30 second-half field goals (66.7 percent), including 4 of 5 three pointers to rally past the shell-shocked Ducks, who made just 13 of 32 shots in the second half (40.6 percent). Nazareth opened the second half with a 14-3 scoring run, capped by a
Chris Barrett three-pointer with 16:12 left, to build a 46-38 lead.
The lead continued to grow and finally reached double digits at 58-46 on
Ryan McAdam's three-pointer with 12:42 left.
Corey McAdam's basket with 1:19 to play gave Nazareth its largest lead at 17 points, 86-69.
Nazareth shot 55.9 percent from the field overall (33 for 59) and 7 for 14 from three-point range.
Ryan McAdam went 9 for 15 with five three-pointers; DeHimer went 9 for 11 and
Corey McAdam was 8 for 12. Freshman
Jason Corletta also reached double figures with 10 points to go with a team-best eight rebounds.
Virgil Gray led Stevens with 19 points. Anthony Passalacqua added 18 and Michael Baker scored 16. Nazareth returns to action Sunday at Hartwick at 2 p.m.
