RESULTS
ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Nazareth senior Nick Stenuf automatically qualified for the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships later this month as he placed second in Saturday's 800-meter run at the NYSCTC men's track and field meet at the University of Rochester's Fauver Stadium.

Stenuf finished second in Saturday's race with his fastest time of the season, 1:50.91, to eclipse the automatic qualifying time of 1:51.30. He was less than a second off his own school record of 1:50.83 that he set two years ago. Outkicking Stenuf to the finish line was Hamilton's Peter Kosgei, who won the national indoor title in the 800-meter run earlier this year. Kosgei's winning time was 1:48.72.

The NCAA outdoor meet is May 22-24 at Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

Senior Aaron Sirtoli also competed for Nazareth Saturday and placed sixth in the 3000-meter steeplechase in 9:46.58. Nazareth also scored points and broke the school record in the 4 x 800-meter relay with the team of Sirtoli, Matt Morales, Robby Castor and Stenuf posting a time of 7:53.01.
