Finn helped Nazareth dominate the action as the Golden Flyers enjoyed a 26-8 shooting advantage and an 8-1 edge in corner kicks. Finn scored two of her goals in the first half and her third early in the second. She leads the Golden Flyers with six goals overall.

Finn's first goal came just past the eight-minute mark in the game as she accepted a through pass from teammate Rachel Cushman (Irondequoit HS/Rochester, NY), dribbled in and beat Elmira keeper Meaghan Doherty (Albany, NY). Finn scored again about six minutes later when she one-touched a pass from Caroline Parsons past Doherty for a 2-0 advantage.

Finn and Cushman hooked up again for Nazareth's third goal that came less than three minutes into the second half. Freshman Erica Conte (Caledonia-Mumford HS/Caledonia, NY) accounted for Nazareth's fourth goal unassisted as she converted a rebound off an initial shot by Parsons.

Finn is now the second Nazareth player to record three goals in a game this season. Junior Taryn Bilodeau (McGraw HS/McGraw, NY) also scored three times in Nazareth's win over Alfred Sept. 12.

Freshman goalie Hillary Simon (Homer HS/Homer, NY) and sophomore Polly Muehlenkamp (Wyoming HS/Cincinnati, OH) combined for Nazareth's fifth shutout of the season. Simon had three saves and Muehlenkamp had four. Doherty made 13 saves for the Soaring Eagles.
