Decker was selected tournament MVP in helping the Golden Flyers claim the Empire 8 Conference championship as they advanced past St. John Fisher and Houghton last week. He was credited with his 13th assist of the season on Cooper LaValley's first-half goal against Fisher last Wednesday. He later scored for Nazareth during the penalty kick session as Nazareth advanced past the Cardinals with a 4-2 advantage. In Saturday's championship game against Houghton, Decker scored his fourth goal of the season to give the Golden Flyers the lead as they went on to win 2-0 to win their second E8 title in three years and fifth overall. Nazareth also will be competing in the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time.
