Son of Jason and Paige Decker, Clifton Park, N.Y... returning for his fourth season, Decker had yet another big year in 2023, where he brought in 14 more points on four goals and six assists in 16 games started... he had three points on one goal and one assist in a 3-1 win against Hilbert on 9/9/2023, as well as in a 4-0 win against Houghton on 10/18/2023... Decker also added a pair of assists in a 2-0 win at Oswego on 9/20/2023, as well as one assist in a 1-1 tie at Hobart on 9/13/2023, and another on 10/28/2023 against Alfred... he also tacked on additional goals in a 4-2 win over SUNY Morrisville on 9/3/2023 as well as in a 2-0 win over Russel Sage on 9/16/2023... Decker was named third team to the United Soccer Coaches Region III All-Stars... named first-team Empire 8 Conference All-Stars... Decker currently holds multiple assist records for Nazareth going into his final season including career assists (26), assists in a single season (13), as well as being tied for the most assists in a single game (3)... Decker also holds the Empire 8 record for most assists in a single season (13 in 2021), as well as being tied for the Empire 8 record for most assists in a single game (3 in 2021)... Decker also earned President's list honors for outstanding academic achievement in the spring 2024 semester.
2022: Decker enjoyed another strong season for the Golden Flyers in 2022... started all 17 games and totaled 13 points on three goals and seven assists... had three points (1g,1a) in wins over Allegheny and Russell Sage... also had a goal in a win over Pitt-Bradford... begins the 2023 season tied for third all-time with 20 career assists... named as a third-team Empire 8 Conference all-star.
2021: Decker was sensational for the Golden Flyers in 2021 as he started all 18 games and finished third on the team in scoring with 21 points on four goals and a school-record 13 assists... had five points on one goal and three assists in a 6-1 win over Russell Sage on 10/2/21... had two assists in a 3-0 win over Alfred on 9/18/21... also scored goals in victories over Wells on 9/1/21, at Hartwick on 10/23/21 and in a 2-0 win over Houghton in the E8 championship game on 11/6/21... named MVP of the E8 Tournament as Nazareth claimed the title and an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament... also contributed a penalty kick goal against St. John Fisher enabling Nazareth to advance past the Cardinals in the E8 semifinal round... named as a first-team Empire 8 Conference all-star and as a first-team NCAA Region III all-star by the United Soccer Coaches... named E8 Offensive Player of the Week three times (9/20/21, 10/4/21 and 11/8/21)... represented the Golden Flyers on the Empire 8 Presidents' List (3.75 GPA or better) for the spring semester.
Scholastic: a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy, Decker competed there in soccer and track... played three seasons of varsity soccer and was a first-team all-league player... helped team to Section Two title in 2018... also played for Blackwatch Premier club team... MVP of track team.
