In a season in which the Golden Flyers have struggled to a 4-18 overall record, Simmons has stood out with a .467 batting average and a .508 on-base percentage that features 28 hits, 12 runs batted in and 42 total bases. She went 5-for-8 with four walks and two stolen bases in four games last week as Nazareth wrapped up its Empire 8 Conference schedule.
