Guzman wins the honor for the second week in a row after guiding the Golden Flyers to their second straight Empire 8 Conference title in women's tennis. Guzman was named tournament MVP as Nazareth gained an automatic berth to next May's NCAA Tournament with narrow wins over Houghton and Hartwick. Guzman won both of her first singles matches in straight sets and also teamed with freshman Claire Pullen to takes points at first doubles. Guzman completed the fall season with a 9-1 record at first singles and a 10-0 mark in doubles.
