Pomerleau's outdoor track and field season got off to a successful start last Saturday as he broke Nazareth's school record with a first-place finish in the pole vault at the Geneseo Invitational. He cleared 4.25 meters (13 feet, 11 1/4 inches) as he and teammate Bryce Florian finished 1-2 in the pole vault.
