Stenglein led the Golden Flyers to their first two Empire 8 Conference wins of the season last week as he averaged 28 points and 10 rebounds in wins over Utica and Ithaca. He posted career highs in points (32) and rebounds (14) in an 82-72 home-court win over Utica on Jan. 12. He then added 24 points and six boards in a 93-79 win at Ithaca Jan. 14. In the two games, he shot 17-for-38 from the field (.447) and 21-for-25 from the free-throw line (.840). He leads the E8 with a 21.5 scoring average.
