Murphy helped the Golden Flyers claim the Empire 8 Conference championship in women's tennis as she was named tournament MVP following Saturday's 6-3 victory over St. John Fisher. She helped the Golden Flyers overcome an early doubles deficit by winning a three-set match at second singles 6-1, 5-7, 6-2. Earlier, she teamed with Aliya Guzman to gain a point with an 8-2 victory at first doubles. She also helped secure two points for Nazareth in an 8-1 win over Houghton in the semifinals as she won at both second singles and first doubles.
