Nichols enjoyed a record-breaking weekend for the Golden Flyers, who gained a tie (3-3 vs. Manhattanville) and a win (6-2 over Neumann) in a pair of home games. Nichols scored the game-tying goal with 8:58 left in Friday's 3-3 tie with Manhattanville. Then on Saturday, she set a school record with four goals and tied another record with six points in a 6-2 win over Neumann. She now ranks second on the team in scoring overall with 21 points on 10 goals and 11 assists as the Golden Flyers improved to 13-2-2 overall and 6-1-1 in United Collegiate Hockey Conference games.
