Wells-Spicer helped Nazareth claim the championship of the inaugural United Volleyball Conference tournament as the Golden Flyers rallied to defeat New Paltz in five sets in Sunday's championship match. Wells-Spicer was named tournament MVP after amassing 60 assists in the title match. He also had eight digs. He also had 41 assists in the semifinals against Vassar and 27 assists in a first-round win over SUNYIT Saturday.
