Costa continued his strong early-season play for the Golden Flyers, who completed the first two rounds of the Empire 8 Conference Tournament over the weekend. With the final two rounds scheduled for the spring, Nazareth sits in fourth place in the team standings, thanks to rounds of 78 and 72 by Costa for a 150 total. The even-par 72 in Sunday's second round at Timber Banks in Baldwinsville was a season best for Costa, who has a scoring average of 79.6 through seven rounds this fall.
