Wells-Spicer was named Sports Imports/AVCA Division III Player of the Week after leading the Golden Flyers to four wins in five matches last week. He had 207 assists (12.18 per set), including a school-record 73 assists in a five-set victory over third-ranked UC Santa Cruz last Saturday in the final match of the Golden Flyer Invitational.
