Pumputis scored the game-winning goal for the Golden Flyers' in Saturday's 2-1 victory over Houghton in the teams' regular-season finale. The victory was the 10th of the season for the Golden Flyers and clinched for them the second seed for this weekend's Empire 8 Conference Tournament at Stevens. With time winding down in a 1-1 game against Houghton, Pumputis got his head on a free kick from Zach Titus and redirected it past the Houghton goalkeeper for the game-winning tally.
