Simoneau continued his face-off dominance for the Golden Flyers last week as he won 24 of 33 in a pair of Empire 8 Conference wins to help Nazareth claim the regular-season title and the top seed for this week's tournament. In addition, he reached 1,000 face-off wins for his career. He won 12 of 14 with 11 ground balls in a 29-0 romp over Houghton last Wednesday, then captured 12 of 19 draws in a 16-6 win at St. John Fisher Saturday. He's won 247 of 352 (.702) for the season with 177 ground balls and 1,000 of 1,528 (.654) for his career with 754 ground balls.
